Biogas Syd — an association for biogas stakeholders

Biogas Syd is a regional association for biogas stakeholders. Based on a common background, Biogas Syd elaborates the issue of biogas in all its parts, from the production to the final use. The group works with biogas issues in the field of business development, environment, technology, economics, agriculture and information but also links to research.

Biogas Syd was founded in 2005 as result of a bottom up growing need for operational and strategic interaction. Biogas Syd has a board of members from the industry, organizations and authorities, both from the local and regional level. Together they are working on a common target, the expanded use and production of biogas as a benefit for economic growth and the environment. The board currently consists of 6 women and 10 men, evenly distributed across the sectors of research, business, organizations and municipalities.Welcome to join the association as new members are all, sharing the interest in biogas development and supporting the association professionally and economically.Among others, Biogas Syd is financed by: Region Skåne, Klimp, the EU along with the participating municipalities, organizations and companies.
